Over the last couple of years, I have been aging very quickly. I strongly suspect that after you graduate, you grow two years older with every passing birthday. When I feel old, I always want to find a way to put a bit of myself in a pretty glass bottle and let it ferment like fine wine. Every year I would choose a different bottle; one that fits the theme of that year, or perhaps if I cannot be bothered to pick, one left over from that New Year’s eve.
2012 was a year of acquiring refined tastes, a little more sophistication than I am used to; a year of indulgence – a Bombay Sapphire perhaps. Here’s hoping 2013 will be a Tanqueray.
